1. For Vizbe Business App Users (Local Shops/Businesses):

We collect the following information from local businesses to create and maintain their presence on Vizbe:

• Business name and shop name
• Business address
• Contact number(s)
• Shop description ("About" section)
• Shop photos
• Business category and services
• Operating hours
• Deals, offers, and promotional content shared by the business

2. For Vizbe Buyer App Users (Shoppers):

We collect the following information from buyers to personalize their local shopping experience:

• Full name
• Profile photo (optional)
• Mobile number (used for account creation and verification)
• Location data (used to show nearby shops and offers)
• Date of birth and anniversary date (to send personalized offers)
• Device details and app usage information

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Connect local businesses with nearby buyers
• Enable broadcast messages and offers from shops to their followers
• Promote local deals, cashback, and discounts to buyers
• Show buyers shops and offers near their location
• Deliver personalized experiences including birthday and anniversary messages
• Facilitate secure transactions and redemptions via OTP verification
• Prevent fraud and misuse of the platform
• Improve and analyze platform performance, engagement, and features
• Notify users via push notifications (through third-party services like Google)

OTP-Based Verification for Cashback & Deals

To protect buyers from fraud, Vizbe uses a secure OTP (One-Time Password) system. Buyers must provide this OTP to local shops to redeem cashback or special deals. Without a valid OTP, redemption will not be processed.

Information Sharing

We share your information only:

• With third-party service providers that help us operate and support our apps (under strict data use agreements)
• As required by law or to comply with legal processes

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or third parties.

Data Storage & Retention

Your data is stored securely on our servers and retained only as long as necessary to provide services or as required under applicable Indian laws. We regularly review our retention practices to ensure data is not held longer than necessary.

Your Rights & Controls

You have the right to:

• Access or correct your personal information
• Change your profile info or privacy settings through the app
• Delete your account permanently via the "Delete My Account" feature in-app

Deleting your account removes your data from Vizbe systems but may not delete data already shared with others (e.g., messages sent to a business or a shop's customer list).

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. However, no system is completely secure, and you share information at your own risk.

Children's Privacy

Vizbe services are not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover such information has been collected, it will be deleted promptly.
